No. Essential, Guardian, and Estate describe the shape of the system, not a sealed box. After the walkthrough we send an equipment list you can accept in parts. A household can begin with two door contacts and a doorbell, then add a yard camera when the first season shows the gap.

Questions Households Ask Before the First Drill
Straight answers about plans, cameras, clips, pets, rentals, monitoring, and what happens after install day.
Yes, when the original devices still match the rooms. We design the first install so later cameras and sensors join the same app and the same names. If an older piece cannot take a privacy zone or a guest code, we say that before you buy a second one.
No. Indoor cameras belong in halls, stairs, and rooms that open to the yard. If the only angle also films a bed, a bath, or a place where guests change, we move the mount or drop the camera. Privacy zones are marked on the placement map.
Household profiles you approve. You can delete clips yourself. We do not browse them for curiosity. A monitoring desk, if you have one, opens a clip only when an armed alert needs context and your instructions allow it. Sharing a clip with someone outside the household is your choice.
On Guardian and Estate, codes can expire at a time you set, so a cleaner or a weekend guest does not keep access. We name each code in plain language and show two people how to retire one. Essential includes coaching on a shared code if a connected lock is not part of the first list.
It is a desk that follows the order you wrote when an armed alarm is not answered: who to reach first, who is second, and which events you consider urgent. It is optional on Guardian and available with priority handling on Estate. It is not included on Essential. It is not emergency services, and it is not a promise that someone will arrive at your door.
A walk of the agreed map, mounting, labels, cable routes a future painter can find, and an app practice with two people who live there. You leave with a one-page note: how to arm, how to set quiet hours, and what to do with the first noisy evening. We do not drill until the rooms that stay off camera are agreed.
Only if we place a motion beam where the pet lives and then ask it to be clever. We prefer a door contact as the first voice and a camera or motion rule as confirmation. Quiet hours and the first-week tune-up exist for this. Tell us the pet’s path before install day.
Often, yes, with the property owner’s permission where a mount leaves a hole or replaces a lock. We favor contacts and devices that can move when you do, and we will not cut into a building you are not allowed to alter. Say you rent in the quote form so the equipment list respects that.
The recurring plan: app profiles, care rhythm, and monitoring if your tier includes it. Cameras, sensors, locks, and labor are quoted separately after we know the floor plan. Yearly billing is a lower monthly equivalent paid for twelve months. Taxes that apply to equipment are shown before you agree.
Yes. Email care@ggpokerth.com. Month-to-month plans end after the notice described in the terms. Yearly plans settle unused full months the same way. Devices you bought remain yours. Monitoring can be removed without removing cameras. Taking a system off a wall you do not own may need the owner’s consent.
By email at care@ggpokerth.com, or through the form on the contact page. We schedule visits from that thread. We do not publish a phone line or a street address. If a message needs a photo of a bracket or a chirp, we will ask for it in the reply.
Occasional notes on placement, false alarms, seasonal battery checks, and changes to plans. We do not sell the list. You choose topics on the subscribe page. To leave the list, use the unsubscribe link in the footer and submit the form there.
No. Cameras miss angles, networks fail, and an unarmed system stays quiet. Our work is to make useful alerts more likely and useless ones rare, and to be reachable when a device or a rule needs a person. The terms say this in full because a calm system starts with an honest one.
Quotes and placement maps stay while you are a customer and for a limited time after, so a later visit still makes sense. Clips follow the retention you set in the app, and you can delete them sooner. Email-list details are removed when you unsubscribe. The privacy policy in the footer describes this in detail.
