Privacy Policy

How Aegiswell collects, uses, shares, and deletes information about households, cameras, alerts, and this website. Last updated 14 October 2026.

Aegiswell plans and looks after home security systems. That work only functions if we know which door is the back door and who should receive an alert. It does not require us to build a portrait of your daily life. This policy explains what we collect, why we keep it, who else may see it, and how you can ask for a copy, a correction, or deletion. It applies to the website at ggpokerth.com, to email with care@ggpokerth.com, and to installation, monitoring, and care for customers.

Please read it with the placement map we send you. The map is the practical privacy document for your house: it shows lenses, the rooms we refused to film, and the names of the sensors. This policy is the general rule behind every map.

1. Who we are

Aegiswell is the studio responsible for the information described here. You can write to care@ggpokerth.com about any privacy request. We do not publish a telephone number or a street address. Email is the channel we actually monitor, and it keeps a record you can forward to the other adults in the home.

When a manufacturer hosts the camera app, that company is a separate controller or processor for the account you open in the app. We choose vendors that let a household delete clips and add or remove profiles. Their own notices apply inside the app. We remain responsible for the placement decisions, the household file we keep, and the instructions we give a monitoring desk.

2. Information you give us

When you request a quote or send a contact form, we ask for your name, email address, the plan you are considering, and a description of the home. That description may include how many entries you have, whether you rent, whether pets move through a hall at night, and which rooms must stay off camera. Please do not send copies of identity documents, full payment card numbers, or passwords in the website form. If a payment is needed later, we use a method that does not leave the full card number in our email.

If you subscribe to notes, we store the name, email address, and topics you ticked, plus the fact that you confirmed you wanted mail. If you unsubscribe, we store the address only as long as needed to suppress it so a later import does not sign you up again, and we store the reason you picked if you gave one. An optional note on the unsubscribe form is read by a person and then kept with the suppression record only if it affects an active care plan.

3. Information from a visit or install

A walkthrough may produce a sketch, photographs of mounts (not of people, unless someone steps into a work photo), device serial numbers, Wi-Fi network names, and the labels we print for sensors. We need these to install the system you approved and to recognize it on a later care visit. We do not need, and please do not hand us, a list of everyone who has ever visited the house.

Access details such as a temporary gate instruction are kept only for the visit window and then deleted or rotated. Master codes belong in the app and in your own notes. We do not keep a copy of your master lock code in the household file after install day. Guest-code names may be recorded (“weekday cleaner”) without the secret itself.

4. Cameras, sensors, and clips

Cameras and doorbells can capture people who approach your home, including household members, guests, and passersby. That is the point of an entry camera and also the privacy risk. We reduce it by placement: no bedrooms, no bathrooms, no deliberate aim into a neighbor’s interior, and privacy zones where a frame would otherwise spill. You decide which household profiles may view live video and clips. You can delete clips in the app. We do not sit and watch customer cameras as entertainment, and staff are not permitted to open a live view out of curiosity.

A clip is opened by Aegiswell only for a reason you would recognize: you asked us to check an angle, a care visit is confirming night view, or a monitoring event requires context and your written instructions allow the desk to look. Sensor events (a named door opened while the system was armed) are smaller than video. We keep event logs so we can diagnose false alarms. We do not sell footage. We do not use customer video to train public models. If a vendor’s app offers an optional “improvement” program that uploads video, we leave it off unless you turn it on yourself after reading their notice.

5. Monitoring records

If you buy professional monitoring, the desk keeps a record of the alarm, the time, the people it attempted to reach, and the outcome. Those records exist so a later dispute about what was done can be answered, and so Priya’s quality reviews can spot a household whose rules are wrong. Monitoring records are visible to trained staff and to you on request. They are not used for advertising. They are not a general log of when you come and go; an event is created when the system raises one, not because we sample your day.

You should tell every adult in the home that monitoring exists and what the contact order says. Guests do not need a briefing on every sensor, but anyone who will be filmed in a private room should not be — because we will not place a camera there. People who only pass an outdoor lens on a path are an ordinary feature of entry cameras. Angling and signage, where you choose to use a small notice, are discussed at install.

6. How we use information

We use household information to prepare quotes, install and label devices, provide the app walkthrough, run monitoring you purchased, send care reminders, fix faults, bill the plan you approved, and keep a record of what was agreed. We use website form details to reply to the message you sent. We use the notes-list details only to send the topics you chose and to honor an unsubscribe.

We do not use your camera clips to advertise to you, and we do not append your sensor history to a marketing profile. If we write a public example, it is generalized or used only with explicit permission, and it will not include a recognizable clip of your home. The testimonials on this website are written as household comments; they are not a dump of customer video.

7. Email: care messages and the notes list

Care email is part of the service. Examples include a proposed visit time, a battery reminder, a revised quote, or a question about a chirp. You can ask us to reduce non-essential care tips, but we will still write when silence would leave a fault or a billing issue unclear. The optional notes list is different. It is articles and plan news. Joining a quote form does not add you to that list. Leaving the list, using the unsubscribe page in the footer, does not cancel cameras or monitoring.

We keep suppression records so that a restored backup cannot resubscribe you by accident. Those records contain the email address and the date you left, not your camera history. Marketing mail is identifiable and always includes a path to the unsubscribe page.

8. Who we share information with

We share information with the installers and monitoring specialists on the Aegiswell team who need the household file to do the job. We share limited details with a manufacturer or app host so a device can be activated: typically a serial number, a site name you approve, and the email that will own the app profile. We share an alarm event with the desk that provides monitoring if you bought that service. We share payment confirmation with the payment processor, not the contents of your clips.

We may disclose information if the law requires it, or if a narrow request from a competent authority is valid where the request is made. We ask that requests be specific. We do not volunteer footage. Where we are allowed to tell you, we will, unless a legal prohibition or a clear safety risk applies. We do not sell personal information. We do not trade contact lists with other home-service brands. If the studio were ever reorganized, the household files would move only with the same duties this policy describes, and customers would be told.

9. Cookies and local storage on this website

This website is a set of static pages. The forms do not send your answers to a server. A confirmation appears in the browser after the fields pass validation. We do not run a third-party advertising pixel, and we do not build a cross-site profile of visitors. Essential cookies are not required for the pages to render. If a future version stores a preference such as the yearly price toggle, it will live in your browser and will not identify you to us.

Fonts may be requested from a font host when you load a page, which reveals to that host that a browser asked for the typeface, including a network address. If that bothers you, your browser can block remote fonts and the pages will fall back to a system typeface. Embedded maps are not used, because we do not publish a location.

10. How long we keep information

Quote requests that do not become a customer are kept for up to twenty-four months so we can continue a conversation you restart, then deleted or reduced to a non-identifying count. Active household files — the map, device list, contact order, and care notes — stay while the plan is active and for up to thirty-six months after it ends, so a returning household is not redesigned from a blank page and so a billing question can still be answered. You may ask us to delete sooner if no invoice, warranty, or safety record requires the file. Monitoring logs are kept for twenty-four months unless a specific incident is under review, in which case that incident file is kept until the review closes.

Clips follow the retention setting in the app, which you control, and you may delete them at any time. We do not keep a second secret archive of your video. Unsubscribe suppressions are kept while we operate a mailing list. Server backups, where a vendor keeps them, age out on the vendor’s cycle and are not used as a live database.

11. Security

We limit staff access to household files to people who are doing a quote, an install, a care task, or a monitoring quality review. Devices are named, not left as a pile of serial numbers only the installer understands. We ask you to use unique app passwords and to remove profiles when someone moves out. No method of storage is perfect. If we learn of a breach that creates a real risk to your household file, we will email the address we hold and describe what happened and what you can do, without waiting for a perfect forensic novel.

Please do not email a master code or a password. If you do it by mistake, tell us and change it. We will delete the message from the working mailbox when we see it. Wi-Fi passwords shared for a single install day are used for that connection and not copied into marketing tools.

12. Your choices and requests

You may ask for a copy of the household file, a correction, or deletion, and you may object to a use that is not required to deliver the plan. Email care@ggpokerth.com from the address we know, or tell us if you have lost access to it so we can confirm you another way that does not depend on publishing a phone line. We may ask a question only you would know about the install before we release a map, because floor plans are sensitive. We aim to answer within thirty days, and we will say if a legal hold or an unpaid invoice dispute means a record must stay for a stated reason.

You can add or remove app profiles yourself in many systems. You can delete clips yourself. You can change the monitoring contact order by email. You can leave the notes list without closing the plan. If you want a camera physically removed, that is a short care task we will schedule; deletion of a file does not unscrew a device.

13. Children

Our services are sold to adults who are responsible for a home. We do not knowingly collect a child’s contact details through the website. Cameras in a family home may incidentally film children who live there or who visit, which is one reason indoor cameras stay out of bedrooms and bathrooms and why profiles are held by adults. If you believe a child sent us a form, write to us and we will delete it.

14. Other people’s information

When you give us a roommate’s email so they can receive alerts, you confirm they know. When a camera films a delivery person, that person does not have an account with us; their image, if any, sits in your clip library under your control. Do not ask us to identify strangers from a clip as a general service. We are not an investigative bureau. If you need to share a clip with an insurer or a neighbor to resolve an incident, that sharing is your decision, and you should send only the moment that matters.

15. Links and vendors

The site may link to a manufacturer’s manual or to a share page for a social network if you choose to share an article. Those sites have their own policies. A share button sends the page address you asked to share; it does not send your household file. App vendors may process video in the region their service uses. We will tell you the app name on the quote so you can read their notice before you accept. If you refuse a vendor that is required for a particular device, we will propose a different device or drop that part of the plan.

16. International readers

This policy is written without tying the studio to a single national label, because households write to us from more than one place and the rules that protect them are not identical. Where a local law gives you a right this policy does not mention — access, correction, deletion, portability, or a complaint to a regulator — that right still exists. Email us and we will treat the request under the rule that applies to you. We do not weaken a stronger local protection by publishing a shorter sentence here.

17. Changes to this policy

We will update this page when our practices change, and we will move the date at the top. If a change materially expands how we use household video or contact details, we will email active customers before the change applies to them. Continued use of a plan after that notice means the update applies to the ongoing service. Quotes already accepted do not silently gain a new marketing use of old clips.

18. How to contact us about privacy

Write to care@ggpokerth.com with the subject “Privacy” and enough detail for us to find the file: the email on the account and, if you have it, the month of install. Do not attach a clip unless we ask for a specific frame to diagnose a placement problem. We would rather not receive more video than the request needs.

If you are asking us to delete a notes-list subscription, you can also use the unsubscribe form linked in the footer. That form is the fastest path for mailing preferences. A privacy email is the right path for a household file, a monitoring log, or a question about who saw a map. We will confirm what we did. We will not ask you to call a number we do not publish, and we will not ask you to visit a counter we do not keep.

Home security only works if the people inside the house trust the file as much as the hardware. That is the standard this policy is written to meet: collect the map, the contacts, and the events the service needs; leave the rest of the day alone; and make deletion a normal request rather than an argument.
