Terms & Services

The agreement for Aegiswell quotes, equipment, installation, monitoring, care plans, and use of this website. Last updated 14 October 2026.

These terms are between you and Aegiswell (“we”, “us”) when you ask for a home security quote, buy equipment, book an installation, join a care or monitoring plan, or use the website at ggpokerth.com. They are written for households, not for a courtroom performance. Please read them before you approve a placement map or a price. If you do not agree, do not approve the quote and do not send us a household file.

1. Who can agree

You must be able to enter a contract and you must have authority over the home, or written permission from the person who does. Renters must tell us before any mount that leaves a hole, replaces a lock, or alters a door. We may refuse or pause work if that permission is missing. You are responsible for the accuracy of what you tell us about who lives in the home, who may receive alerts, and who may create guest codes.

If you approve a quote on behalf of a household, you confirm that the other adults who need to know have been told that cameras and sensors are being installed, including which rooms are intentionally left out of view. We do not mediate family disputes about recording. We will follow the placement map the approving customer signed or confirmed by email.

2. Quotes and home assessments

A conversation, a form, or an email is a request for information. It is not an agreement to install anything and it does not reserve a technician. A quote becomes binding only when we confirm it in writing and you accept that writing. Prices for equipment and labor are specific to the floor plan we were shown. If the house differs from the description — an extra outbuilding, a gate we were not told about, materials we cannot drill, or a lack of permission — we will revise the quote before continuing.

Assessments are planning advice. They are not a certification that a home is safe, insurable, or compliant with every local rule that might apply to smoke equipment, locks, or wiring. You remain responsible for any permission, notice, or filing that the place where you live requires. We will tell you when a task is outside our work, such as replacing a structural door or altering building wiring that needs a licensed electrical trade.

3. Plans, equipment, and what the monthly figure means

Essential, Guardian, and Estate describe recurring care and, where stated, monitoring options. The monthly or yearly figure on the pricing page is not a bundle price for every camera the house might need. Hardware, mounts, and installation labor are itemized after the walkthrough. You may accept the list in parts. Devices you purchase are yours once paid for, except any unit we expressly lend for a trial and describe as a loan.

Yearly billing is a prepayment of the recurring plan at the lower equivalent rate. It does not force you to buy equipment you have not approved. Taxes, duties, or similar charges that apply to goods or services are added on the quote when they are known, before you accept. We do not add unnamed “protection fees” after acceptance. If a manufacturer changes a price before we order, we stop and ask you again rather than swapping in a different device silently.

4. Installation

Installation follows the agreed map. We label devices, route cable so it can be found later, and walk through the app with the people you name. We will not aim a camera into a bedroom, a bathroom, or a neighbor’s private interior as part of a standard install. If you later ask for an angle we believe is intrusive, we may decline that mount. You must give us safe access, restrain pets that could be hurt by tools, and tell us about hidden pipes or wiring if you know of them. We are not liable for damage that could not reasonably be seen, but we are responsible for careless mounting.

A finished install is not a promise that every approach to the property is covered. Fences, glare, foliage, and later building work change what a lens sees. You should review the live view after furniture moves or a tree grows into the frame. Cosmetic touch-up of paint beyond the immediate mount, and repair of pre-existing defects, are not included unless the quote says so.

5. Monitoring and alerts

Professional monitoring, when you buy it, means a desk follows the written order you gave us if an armed event is not cancelled. That order should name who to contact and which events you treat as urgent. Monitoring is not emergency services. It does not guarantee that any person will travel to the home, that a particular agency will respond, or that a loss will be prevented or interrupted. Cellular and internet paths fail. If you want a purely local system with alerts only on household phones, choose a plan without monitoring and we will configure it that way.

You must keep contact details current. If every person on the order is unreachable, the desk will follow the fallback you approved, which may include stopping at a logged attempt. False alarms caused by pets, open windows, or a failure to arm are part of ordinary use. Repeated false alarms may require a retune, a change of rules, or, if you decline to adjust a system that is creating a burden, suspension of monitoring until the rule is fixed. We will explain the reason by email before a suspension for this cause.

6. Your responsibilities

You will use codes, apps, and arming schedules as designed, keep firmware and app updates that we flag as security-relevant, and test sensors when we ask you to during a care cycle. You will not share master credentials in a group chat or leave a written master code in an obvious place. Guest codes should expire. You will tell us when someone moves out and should lose access. You are responsible for the broadband, power, and Wi-Fi the system needs, unless a quote includes a specific connection device.

You will not use Aegiswell equipment to harass, to record people where they have a reasonable expectation of privacy, or to break a law that applies where the home is. Outdoor cameras must be angled with care toward your own approach. If a neighbor raises a legitimate concern about a lens, you will work with us to adjust it. We may disable a device remotely or refuse service if we reasonably believe it is being used to intimidate or to record unlawfully, and we will tell you why unless doing so would create a safety risk.

7. Care plans

Care is a maintenance relationship. Essential includes written reminders and email support for the devices we installed. Guardian adds priority handling and the ability to book a tune-up. Estate includes two scheduled visits in a year and faster replacement of a failed device under ordinary use, subject to stock. Care does not include damage from impact, water where a device was not rated for it, theft of the device itself, or modifications by another installer. Replacement may be a equivalent current model if the original is no longer made.

A care visit rechecks the original map, batteries we can see, naming, and guest codes you ask us to review. It is not an open-ended construction project. New rooms, new gates, and new buildings are quoted as additions. If you miss two scheduled visits without notice, we may convert on-site care to email support until a visit is rebooked.

8. Changes, pauses, and cancellation

Month-to-month plans renew until you email care@ggpokerth.com to cancel. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid month unless we confirm an earlier date. Yearly plans may be cancelled with notice; we refund the unused full months after the month in which notice is received, minus any monitoring or visit already delivered in that period. Equipment purchased outright is not refunded once installed and accepted, except where a device is faulty on arrival or a written cooling-off promise on that quote says otherwise.

You may remove monitoring and keep cameras. You may pause a plan for a vacancy only if we agree in writing; sensors left powered without a plan do not include desk response. If you move, tell us before you take devices off a wall you do not own. We can often reuse equipment in a new home and will quote the labor separately. Failure to pay a recurring plan after a reminder may lead to suspension of monitoring and care, not to remote disabling of a lock that would strand occupants, unless the quote for that lock said otherwise and safety allows it.

9. Limits of the service

Home security equipment reduces uncertainty. It does not eliminate it. Cameras have blind spots. Sensors can be bypassed. Batteries deplete. Networks drop. People forget to arm the system. Intrusion, fire, leak, and freeze sensors are aids to notice, not guarantees of prevention, identification, or recovery of property. Environmental sensors do not replace maintained life-safety equipment that building rules may require, and they do not extinguish fire or stop water.

We do not insure your home. We do not offer to pay for stolen goods, broken windows, or temporary lodging. Any such protection would have to be a separate written policy from an insurer, not a sentence on this website. Timing estimates for visits are planning targets, not penalties. Weather, access, and parts can move a day. We will tell you when a date slips.

10. The website and the email list

The pages on this website are information for households considering or using Aegiswell. They are not a live control panel for your alarm. Forms on the site run in your browser only. Submitting a form shows a confirmation on the page; it does not by itself create a monitored account until a person confirms the request by email. You agree not to misuse the site, probe it, or send content that is unlawful or that attempts to impersonate another customer.

The optional notes list is separate from care email about your own system. You join it only if you subscribe, and you may leave it from the unsubscribe page linked in the footer. Article email is occasional. Care email about an active plan continues until that plan ends, because it is part of the service you bought. Do not forward a household’s master instructions to the public list or to a public social post.

11. Intellectual property

The Aegiswell name, logo, site text, placement-map format, and original photographs or graphics we created are ours or used with permission. You may not copy the site into another commercial template or present our written plan as a product you sell. You may keep and share your own placement map and device list with people who live in the home, with a property owner, or with an insurer who asks for a description of the system. Manufacturer names on devices remain the manufacturers’ marks. We do not claim that a white camera or lock is our exclusive design.

12. Disclaimer of warranties

Except where a non-excludable right applies where you live, the website and the planning advice are provided as available. Manufacturer warranties on hardware pass to you to the extent the maker allows. We warrant that installation will be done with reasonable care and that care visits will match the plan you bought. We do not warrant uninterrupted video, error-free alerts, or that a particular person will be deterred. Any implied warranty that the law does not allow us to disclaim stays in force only to the minimum extent required.

13. Liability

To the extent permitted, Aegiswell is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including lost peace of mind expressed as a general sum, loss of data on a personal device, or the acts of third parties who enter a property. Our aggregate liability arising out of a plan, a visit, or the website in a twelve-month period is limited to the fees you paid us for that plan and the related install labor during those twelve months, not including the retail cost of third-party hardware you keep. This cap does not limit liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud, or for any other liability that cannot legally be limited.

You should keep your own insurance for the building and its contents. Nothing in these terms is a promise to step into an insurer’s place. If a device we installed is defective and we supplied it, your remedies are repair, replacement, or a refund of that device’s price, plus any reinstall labor that the defect made necessary.

14. Your responsibility to others

If you ask us to install or configure a system and that request causes us to face a claim from a neighbor, a guest, or another occupant because of an angle or a recording practice you insisted on after we advised against it, you will cover the reasonable cost of defending that claim and any amount we must pay because of it. This does not apply when the claim is caused by our own negligent mounting or by our refusal to follow a lawful instruction. You will also cover loss we suffer because access details you gave us were false.

15. Suspension

We may suspend monitoring, app support, or a visit if accounts are unpaid after notice, if the system is creating uncontrolled false alarms and you decline a retune, or if we reasonably believe the service is being used unlawfully. We will email the reason and what restores service, unless a safety concern makes immediate silence of a device necessary. Suspension is not erasure of your placement map. Locks will not be left in a state that traps people inside if we can avoid it.

16. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms when the service changes. The date at the top of this page will move. If you have an active plan, we will email a summary of material changes before they apply to that plan. Continued use after the effective date is acceptance of the update for the ongoing service. A quote already accepted keeps the commercial terms printed on it for the equipment and labor in that quote. The newer terms apply to later changes and renewals.

17. How the pieces fit together

If a sentence on a marketing page conflicts with a signed or emailed quote, the quote wins for price and scope. If the quote is silent, these terms fill the gap. If these terms conflict with a non-waivable rule where you live, that rule wins for the conflict only. Headings are for convenience. Examples about pets, gates, and guest codes are illustrations of ordinary homes, not a promise that your home will be treated as identical to the example.

Failure to enforce a term once is not a waiver. You may not transfer a monitoring plan to another household without our written agreement, because the contact order and the floor plan would be wrong. You may sell equipment you own. The buyer does not inherit your care plan unless we agree to open a new one.

18. Contact about these terms

Questions about a quote, a charge, a cancellation, or these terms go to care@ggpokerth.com. Write from the email we hold on the household file when the question is about an existing plan, so we can match the map. We do not publish a telephone number or a street address for service of casual enquiries. Formal notices by email are effective when we reply to acknowledge them, or one business day after they are sent if no automated failure notice comes back. Please keep a copy.

Thank you for reading this far. The practical version is short: we plan cameras and sensors around the rooms you name, we price what you approve, we do not promise that a device can stop every loss, and we stay reachable by email for the life of the plan you keep.
